Design as a Manifesto

Visiting the MDF Italia showroom and meeting the company’s management confirmed our belief that the brand truly excels in its attention to detail. Forms, joints and proportions all come together to create a result that is at once stable, distinctive and expressive.

In MDF Italia’s case, this distinctiveness and expressiveness at times verges on the paradoxical. An exquisite, minimalist tabletop with exceptionally refined edges sits in harmony with legs of intricate form and complex engineering, turning the piece into something closer to a work of contemporary art.

This is entirely in keeping with the philosophy of Ariné Ateliér. The team is actively building its specialisation, focusing primarily on high design. Design is a manifesto. It is not merely the product of creative integration but an independent form of expression, and an art in its own right.
