Antonio Lupi: visited by Ariné Ateliér

2026.10.19

Evgeny Arinin, Founder and Art Director of Ariné Ateliér, is currently on a business trip in Italy. This week he will visit a number of factories and showrooms of premium furniture brands. Antonio Lupi, a leading manufacturer of bathroom furniture and fixtures, was the first.

It is perhaps one of our favourite bathroom brands, and Ariné Ateliér actively integrates its products into projects. We are confident in the quality of its products and fully share the brand’s approach to work, which puts consistency and predictability of results first.

On 19 October, together with the Interior Market team, Evgeny visited the brand’s factory, where he had the chance to speak in person with the company’s leadership.

Antonio Lupi Visit: A Shared Vision of Design Trends.

The meeting with the company’s leadership revealed a striking and important common ground: Ariné Ateliér and Antonio Lupi share a strategic vision of where design is heading. Both companies are beginning to see the bathroom as a full, spacious living area that no longer serves a purely utilitarian purpose.

For Ariné Ateliér, the project that embodies this approach is the Truzhenikov bathrooms, completed by our team in 2025. It is a true precedent: here the bathroom stops being a bathroom in the literal sense and becomes a separate, complete room that connects with the neighbouring spaces. Evgeny also used Antonio Lupi’s geometric rugs in this project, and their expressiveness made them a distinctive accent of the space.

Another bold decision the two brands have in common is the absence of the conventional placement of the mirror opposite the tap. We are convinced that this mirror will increasingly give way to new, unconventional solutions: the familiar object may be concealed in discreet shelving or moved to another zone altogether, for example onto adjacent walls, creating an entirely new experience.

As for trends for the coming year, the factory visit confirmed our view that the company continues to draw inspiration from local architecture and is thoroughly steeped in Tuscan meanings and motifs. As a result, we can confidently expect that many future solutions will once again recall the designs and concepts of the last century, which have long since proven their relevance and value.

During the tour, Evgeny spoke with Andrea Lupi, who spoke highly of Ariné Ateliér’s projects. He noted that Evgeny showcases the company’s products exactly as they were intended: boldly, vividly and expressively.
